In 2013 the Philippines was hit by a typhoon. Just one year later, another one has just destroyed or damaged shanty houses that had just been repaired or rebuilt from last year's disaster.

You are going to watch a BBC report focusing on the situation in Tacloban where thousands of people died last year. This year, fortunately, nobody seems to have died there.

Il a vu le poste de bateaux de sauvetage,un bâtiment robuste en briques, être soulevé et emporté par les vagues en à peine une demi-heure.

Il n'avait encore jamais vu de tempêtes similaires à celle-là!  Et il avait peur, tout comme les habitants de la localité.

Tugce Albayrak: a Turkish-German 'heroine'

Tugce avait décidé de porter assistance à deux adolescentes victimes de harcèlement par un groupe d'hommes dans les toilettes d'un fast-food. Elle avait entendu leurs cris et avait été la seule à venir s'interposer et à faire fuir les agresseurs. Elle a fait montre d'un courage exemplaire là où d'autres ont préféré simplement détourner leurs regards. 

Son geste héroïque devait lui être fatal puisque l'un des agresseurs l'attendait sur le parking du fast-food pour la frapper violemment (NOTE: sur la tête à l'aide d'une batte de baseball). Elle est restée dans le coma pendant deux semaines jusqu'au jour de son 23e anniversaire lorsque ses parents ont pris la terrible décision de faire débrancher les machines qui la maintenaient artificiellement en vie.
